We have exhibitions at the Old Fire Station in Henley twice a year. The Spring exhibition is a selected exhibition, where members can submit work, but our selector, chosen from outside the Guild, may or may not hang them. In the Autumn, we have a show where every member is entitled to have his or her work shown.
This was a very successful exhibition despite having to manage the newly re-arranged space! It all worked out very satisfactorily with over 100 pictures hung. Look out for some of the pictures from this exhibition, coming soon here.
Guild members really rose to the challenge of this theme, selected and curated by the museum. The show was excellent and a credit to all our members. The RRM wish to repeat the experience and have asked us to provide more work for the same time next year.(June to Aug 2010) Details will be out in the next few months, but the theme is going to be "Our Town" with an emphasis more on the buildings and people of Henley. We will be holding a workshop at the beginning of the Summer programme to get you started with ideas.
