We have exhibitions at the Old Fire Station in Henley twice a year. The Spring exhibition is a selected exhibition, where members can submit work, but our selector, chosen from outside the Guild, may or may not hang them. In the Autumn, we have a show where every member is entitled to have his or her work shown.
A great opportunity for members! Henley Guild have negotiated an exhibition with the River and Rowing Museum for June to August 2009. The theme is "Life by the Water", and pictures can be in any medium, including textiles (but you might want to glaze your work as items may be touched.)Start thinking about it now and get painting!
The Autumn Exhibition has now closed, but you can see the work on the
AutumnEx2008 page. It is an exciting and varied show, with pictures, rugs, quilts, glass, wood and other craft pieces.
The new exhibition is now up and ready to visit and the Horns. There is a good variety of work from a number of our members - do pop a long for a drink or a meal and see the show. The work stays up until Sunday 25th January 2009. The pub is open every day except Mondays, lunchtimes and evenings.
